Another step towards the construction of the church is successfully behind us.

We have finished the water connection!

We are happy to inform all friends of the community center and church project that, thanks also to your support, we have managed to take another step towards construction. In addition to the electrical connection, on October 19, the construction company began excavating and literally carving a passage through the rock using jackhammers for a D110x6.6mm pipe and a water meter pit. The size of the water connection is larger than that of a standard house, primarily due to the fire hydrants that will be located near the building. The main pipeline is located at a depth of more than 2 meters under the sidewalk, where a T-shaped branch was inserted, and the pit itself is at a distance of about 9 meters. Plastic piping was used in combination with metal valves and couplings. The pit itself measures 3.2×1.2 meters, is made of plastic, and was subsequently encased in concrete. The work was successfully completed in early November. The total cost of construction is 219,333 CZK including VAT; part of the funds will be covered by the donations you sent to the transparent account for the public collection. We are glad that these necessary energy connections have been secured; now we will begin preparing the next connections for gas and sewage, which will be located on the opposite side of the plot in Hraniční Street. Thank you for your financial support so that this collective work succeeds for the benefit of the entire community, not only in Neratovice and Libiš.

I was moved by the image of a mutual network and interconnectedness, allowing energy to flow and reach everywhere and everyone who needs it and is connected to the network. In Greek, the Holy Spirit was invoked as Holy Energy-Power; may we be those who, even at the cost of effort and exertion, create, expand, and strengthen this network, so that every drop of grace—power—energy brings joy, courage, and togetherness.
