The Budyně nad Ohří parish supported the construction of the Neratovice church with a generous donation.

Neratovice – The Neratovice Community Center Foundation, established last autumn to oversee the construction of the Neratovice church, has received a generous gift. The Budyně nad Ohří parish donated one of its plots of land to the foundation. Part of the real estate assets managed by the Foundation will be utilized to fund the project's realization.

Neratovice is known as a "town without a church," and the local parish has long strived for its construction. Thanks to the effort and diligence of local parishioners, a project for a multifunctional center was born. In addition to the church dedicated to the Holy Trinity and a rectory, it will include a hall, clubrooms, a playground, and a park. The center is intended to become a venue for cultural and social events.

A project of this scale is financially demanding, and the Neratovice Community Center Foundation is continuously working to secure funds. Thanks to the generosity of the Budyně nad Ohří parish, the construction of the community center is one step closer to reality.

The parish donates the gift out of mutual brotherhood Mutual brotherhood and solidarity are fundamental elements of the relationships between parishes. Although there are many parishes, the church is one, and the goal is shared: mediating a relationship with God, strengthening the spiritual and human aspects of individuals, and providing concrete mutual assistance within the broad community of the town and surrounding municipalities. While the Budyně parish has its church, the Neratovice one must build its own. This gift makes it possible, and the parishioners of Neratovice owe a great debt of gratitude to Budyně nad Ohří for their magnanimous help. One of them, Marek Matocha, who is also a member of the foundation's board, tells the Budyně parishioners: "Thank you for letting miracles happen again through you."

"I was very pleased by the news of the land donation, which will allow the Neratovice church project to move forward. I have been helping the project for years and I am thrilled that, thanks to the Budyně parish's gift, it has reached a phase where it is truly feasible. I truly thank the Budyně parish from the bottom of my heart for their generosity," said MEP and long-time supporter of the Neratovice church construction, Tomáš Zdechovský (KDU-ČSL).

Neratovice residents are also helping Ukraine The Neratovice parish has, of course, also transferred some of its own real estate to the Neratovice Community Center Foundation to enable the church's construction. Besides land, this includes two buildings. The Foundation's representatives agreed that in these extraordinary times, extraordinary solutions are necessary, so they will temporarily offer the residential spaces to accommodate refugees from Ukraine. "The whole parish got involved in preparing the facilities, and I am very happy about this sense of solidarity," comments Peter Kováč, the Neratovice priest and chairman of the Foundation's board.

In addition to the utilization of real estate, contributions from donors will be vital for the construction of the church.
