The bell tower is a key element of our church, and its construction required a special approach. Architect Zdeněk Fránek, the designer of the church, envisioned the tower as a cylindrical shape with delicate curves and complex details that would be difficult to achieve using traditional construction methods. Therefore, it was decided to utilize 3D concrete printing—a technology that allows for the precise creation of complex shapes directly from a digital model.
How is the 3D printing of the bell tower performed?
Using a specialized 3D printing device, concrete is gradually deposited layer by layer according to a precise design. This process allows for the creation of not only straight lines but also the curved and organic shapes that are central to the tower's design.
Main advantages of 3D printing:
Precision: Complex architectural elements can be printed with high accuracy, which is not always possible with traditional construction.
Efficiency: The process is faster than conventional building methods and reduces waste.

The Bell Tower as a Symbol of Connection
The bell tower, which will reach a height of nearly 23 meters, will become a significant landmark not only for the church itself but also for the wider area. Its architectural expression symbolizes the connection between heaven and earth and the spiritual bonding of the community. The tower will be fitted with a bell and will also offer a lookout point from which the surrounding landscape can be observed.
The use of 3D printing for such a prominent element of the church is also a symbol of uniting tradition and modern technology, reflecting the overall character of our project—a building that honors the past while looking toward the future.
