Fr. Josef Ptáček Becomes a New Member of the Foundation's Board of Trustees
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in the presence of Mons. Stanislav Přibyl, Archbishop of Prague, a new member of the Board of Trustees of the Neratovice Community Center Foundation was elected. The new member is Fr. Mgr. Josef Ptáček, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Prague, who has extensive experience from the construction of the Church of Christ the Savior in Prague's Barrandov district. He is therefore a significant addition and a great source of encouragement for our Foundation.
Fr. Mgr. Josef Ptáček succeeded Fr. ThDr. Jan Balík, Ph.D., as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees. We wholeheartedly thank Fr. Balík for his many years of steadfast support and for the trust he has placed in us and in the entire project. Fr. Jan Balík was there at the birth of the Foundation and stood by us even during the difficult period of the energy crisis and inflationary pressures, which also had a significant impact on our budget.
Thank you very much! We wish him much strength, continued success and God's blessing, and we look forward to meeting soon in the completed Holy Trinity Church and the Cardinal Josef Beran Community Center.
