Prague seminarians visit the construction site of the new church in Neratovice

•

On Wednesday, September 9, Prague seminarians visited the construction site of Holy Trinity Church and the Cardinal Josef Beran Community Center in Neratovice, together with their superiors – Archbishop of Prague Mons. Stanislav Přibyl, Vicar General Fr. Mgr. Josef Ptáček, and Auxiliary Bishop of Prague Mons. ThLic. Ing. Zdenek Wasserbauer, Th.D.

The visit took place as part of their three-day group trip. The seminarians had the opportunity to see the construction of the new church on site and to learn about the story of the project, its architecture, and its future mission.

The new Holy Trinity Church is part of the emerging community center, which is meant to be a place for gathering, spiritual life, culture, and a wide range of activities for the people of Neratovice and the surrounding region. The project is therefore not focused solely on building the church itself, but also on creating an open space for the whole community.

From a construction site to a living church

For the Prague seminarians, the visit was an opportunity to see with their own eyes the gradual realization of a project that, after decades without a church of its own, will give Neratovice a new spiritual and community space.

The visit also brought a beautiful word of encouragement: the seminarians are already looking forward to the day when the new church is completed and they can celebrate its consecration together.

That very moment is one of the great hopes of everyone involved in building the church – from donors and supporters, architects and builders, to parishioners and the people of Neratovice.

Thank you for your visit and encouragement

We greatly appreciate today's visit by the Prague seminarians and their superiors. Thank you for your time, your interest in our project, your encouragement, and your prayers.

We trust that today's meeting will be one of many more steps on the way to completing our shared work – Holy Trinity Church and the Cardinal Josef Beran Community Center.

And together we look forward to the day when its doors open for the first time and the new church resounds with the festive liturgy of its consecration.
